Museo Marsili
The Museum was opened in 1930 to house objects and memorabilia relating to Luigi Ferdinando Marsili, founder of the Bologna Institute of Sciences.
Decorated with the great equestrian portrait of Marsili, the Museum houses above all Marsilian printed works and manuscripts concerning the studies of the scientist and the founding of the Institute of Sciences.
The exhibiting area, created on the occasion of the bicentenary of the death of Marsili is adorned with stuccoes and decorations in white and gold.
